Only very rarely you feel home when you enter a new house, but this is exactly what you feel here as soon as you leave the threshold behind — ‘This is, this could actually be my home’, you think immediately. Surrounded by pure, unspoilt nature, as it must have been for ages, this stuga is the perfect place to explore both the immediate surroundings outside (including the amazing lake), and your own inside in the midst of the utmost peace and silence. I was here in winter, under the snow, and it was so beautiful, but I cannot wait to enjoy it also in springtime or in summer, with the nature in full blossoming, or bathed in Autumn colours. Definitely a place for all seasons!!

“We had a fantastic week with lots of swimming and fishing. The house is very fresh and nice.
The location is wonderful with the lake right next door.
Cozy to grill freshly caught zander down by the jetty and watch the sunsets with a glass of wine.
Lucy and Mats are very nice and even if they live in the house next door, it never feels intrusive or difficult, quite the opposite. We would love to come back!”

We had one of our most beautiful and peaceful vacations in the Stuga.
The enivronment is breathtaking. The house is charming and well equipped.
In the middle of pure nature, located on a wonderful lake. If you look outside the window you feel like you are in a typical midsummer movie, beautiful nature everywhere. We hope to come back very soon. The visit was energizing and refreshing for all the senses.

This Stuga gives you the feeling of coming home, even if you have never been there before. It is spacious and the interior is functional and at the same time very comfortable, also or especially on a rainy day.
We had a great time at this place and it was definitely not our last stay. Even fishing was good, and Mats and Lucy are fantastic hosts.

The cottage and the surroundings were even more beautiful than in the pictures. We greatly appreciated the host couple’s efforts to help us with everything. That we had children was not a problem, rather appreciated.
The jetty with bathing ladder and barbecue is magical and there is so much to discover in the surrounding area. The house was well equipped, fresh and nicely decorated. A place we like to return to!
